PREVIOUS WEEK RECAP
Just the second week this season where both Yanni and JJ were below .500 as a few upsets derailed us where we were laying some chalk. We were on the same teams for Thanksgiving laying the points and finishing 2-1 like a lot of the general public in America. We split a few decisions but both got tripped up on several games, starting with the Bengals upsetting the Jets for their first win of the season. Both of us were close to pulling the trigger on Cincy but just couldn’t do it and obviously that came back to bite us. We also figured laying big points with Carolina and Philadelphia would work out, and yet we had two teams that not only didn’t cover, but didn’t even win outright. The other game that we both missed on was taking the Vikings +3 against the Seahawks on Monday night. Of course, we should have pushed that one with a made extra point, but since we had it teased to 9 for our official bet play, we were fine with the outcome other than wanting some bragging credibility here. After a non-productive week, we’ll look to bounce back in week fifteen. We’re looking at getting a video breakdown out, but in case we don’t we wanted to keep our picks posted and up to date.
