Joey Logano reminded us at Richmond that the 3-time Cup Series Champion is anything but out of the running for the 2026 title. With just two regular season races to go, Chase Briscoe, Chase Elliott, and Christopher Bell locked themselves into The Chase heading before this weekend’s Dollar Tree 301. Three of the four Gen-7 races at New Hampshire were taken down by Bell and Blaney, so it’s no wonder why they sit on top of the early week odds to win. But Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe carry their red-hot form to the Magic Mile where success has been harder to come by in this car.
The Cup Series schedule lined up four flatter-cornered tracks in a row, though Indianapolis on the front end is a much different animal than Iowa and Richmond. At just a tick over 1 mile, New Hampshire falls out of the definition of a short track but shares enough characteristics with Richmond, Gateway, and Phoenix as primary comps. Plus the ifantasyrace.com Similar Track Guide pins Iowa, North Wilkesboro, and Martinsville as secondaries that we weight lower in our comp scoring. How will the handful of bubble teams fare before their last chance at Daytona? BOL and enjoy the race (with some cooperation from Mother Nature)!
