2026 Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono

Pocono’s Comps

Well, the Tricky Triangle is about as unique as NASCAR “ovals” get. The tagline “What Turn 4?” says a lot about the 2.5-mile triangle in Northeast Pennsylvania. It’s flat, unique corners bring in Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the primary comp – especially as Pocono’s “Tunnel Turn” replicates Indy’s corners. The ifantasyrace.com Similar Track Guide comp track resource also calls on Michigan as a secondary because of the raw speed generated on the long straightaways.

Great American Getaway 400 – Race Details

  • Track type: flat-banked “oval”
  • Track length: 2.5 miles
  • Laps/total miles: 160 / 400
  • Stage lengths (laps): 30 / 65 / 65

Chase Briscoe is your defending Pocono winner. Granted, it was a fuel mileage affair in similar light to last year’s Michigan contest. But there’s no shame in that game considering that’s how these large tracks with late green flag runs can be. Ryan Blaney won in 2024 on the heels of Denny Hamlin’s back-to-back victories at the onset of the Gen 6 era. The #11 team stands head and shoulders above the field at the Tricky Triangle in terms of both finish and performance. No other driver has posted four top 5 results here in the NextGen car, let alone won or finished runner-up in all of them.
